Brent T. Doster

As a Master’s Level Social Worker, Brent Doster has over ten years of experience in hospice and long term care settings with an emphasis in bereavement support. In that time, Brent has operated and coordinated a hospice and long term care bereavement support program while also serving as a chaplain and social worker. He has authored and facilitated original and unique support groups and have counseled numerous individuals through grief and loss and other life transitions.

Brent has a passion for writing, teaching and public speaking and published and presented educational and supportive content for professionals and the public alike. Recently him and his wife moved from Kansas City to San Diego, with their dog, Halfy, and their cat, Dirge. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with his family, walking their dog, reading, creating art, exploring the city and watching sunsets at the beach.
