
Dr. Leilani Way is board-certified in veterinary emergency and critical care. She obtained her veterinary degree from Colorado State University in 2008. Following this, she completed a rotating internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She then went on to complete an emergency and critical care residency at Colorado State University and became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2012.
She joined Ethos in 2017 as the Regional Medical Director for the West Region overseeing medical operations at seven hospitals.
In addition to her love of emergency and critical care medicine, Dr. Way enjoys spending her free time with her family. She loves all things outdoors including running, hiking, rock climbing, and fly fishing.
Dr. Way is a member of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, American Veterinary Medical Association, Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, and the Association of Veterinary Hematology and Transfusion Medicine.
Her clinical interests include blood banking, transfusion medicine, nosocomial infections, and sepsis.
