Study to Evaluate Circulating Tumor Cells in Dogs with Osteosarcoma or Hemangiosarcoma

Description
The project is focused on blood and tissue sample collection to evaluate circulating tumor cells in the blood of dogs with suspected osteosarcoma or hemangiosarcoma. Dogs who qualify will have a single blood sample collected prior to surgery and a tissue sample collected at the time of surgery.
Eligibility criteria
- Dogs over the age of 1 year
- Dogs weighing over 1kg
- Suspected osteosarcoma or hemangiosarcoma of any anatomical site
